HOTBOX is widely considered one of the most talented, entertaining and professional acts in the midwest.  HOTBOX is a collaboration of some of the finest talents in the region.  With the burn of soul and a drive to entertain, HOTBOX traveled across the Midwest in 2007 playing 211 dates in their first year of existence.  Unmatched showmanship, audience interaction and unparalleled talent keep audiences asking for more.  The members of HOTBOX have played events such as:  The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, The Freedom Festival, Taste of Springfield, The International Blues Competition in Memphis, House of Blues in Chicago, Buddy Guy's Legends, The Summer Sizzle Festival, The Sertoma Annual Chili Cook Off, The Winter Blues Blast, opened for countless national and international acts (including Walter Trout, Watermelon Slim, Pauline York Band) and played numerous venues across the country.

 

Based out of Springfield Missouri, HOTBOX does travel the country.  If they aren't currently playing at your favorite venue, be sure to contact that establishment and let them know that you demand HOTBOX!!  HOTBOX stains the walls with sweat and soul.  Come out to see them perform and you will not forget it!

 

HOTBOX will open for the International Blues Artist, Walter Trout on May 8 at Cartoons in Springfield.  Showtime is 7:00 p.m.  This is a special show with a true undeniable world class talent that dominates the Billboard Blues Charts.  Be certain to attend as HOTBOX, Southwest Missouri's own, opens the show!

 

HOTBOX will host a special event at the Gillioz Theatre on May 20.  This special Tuesday show starts at 7:00 p.m.  Great for anyone of any age to attend this special show.  Part of the proceeds will go to benefit two special charities that will soon be announced.  This event will be videotaped, so spread the word and let's help local charities with a great evening at a one of a kind theater!

 

HOTBOX is proud to announce they will be headlining the Lee Summit International Blues and Jazz Festival this year!!  The show is in downtown Lee Summit (just outside of Kansas City) on August 1.  HOTBOX takes the stage at 10 p.m.  Be sure to stay in town as HOTBOX takes the stage at Kunckleheads, the next night (August 2) at 9 p.m.!  Knuckleheads won special honors as the best Blues Club in America at the International Blues Competition in Memphis this year.
